ENROLLMENT
Our program is open to children ages 3 months through 5 years of age, regardless of race, creed, color, or national origin.
We welcome interested parents to tour our early learning campus as a requisite, first step in the enrollment process. Children are added to the wait list throughout the year, and they are admitted according to the number of open spaces for each age group. There is a $25 fee to place a child on the wait list. Tours are available by appointment, Tuesday through Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Please contact us to schedule an appropriate date and time by calling 703-256-0100 or emailing admissions@accacdc.org.
In addition, we work with the Fairfax County Child Care Assistance and Referral and the Child Care Subsidies for Federal Employees, which provide financial help to qualified parents so they may afford an early learning center.

PARTNERSHIP WITH PARENTS
Parents play a vital role in a child’s early development. Open and continuous communication between teachers and parents, working together as a team for the benefit of the children, is essential to their experience while at the program. Our goal is to create a partnership with families that will ensure that each child gets the very best education, and this begins with mutual respect between families and staff. A coordinated effort between home and program is key in establishing the stable environment young children need to develop and learn.
If you have a concern or problem that you have brought to the attention of the teaching staff, which has not been resolved to your satisfaction, we encourage you to speak with our Education Program Manager by calling 703-256-0100.
OPEN DOOR POLICY
We have an open door policy. Individual classrooms provide parents with information about opportunities to get involved in the daily life and on-going curriculum of the group. Parents may visit their children any time, but we do ask family to follow the classroom routine, to avoid disturbing schedules and activities. Moreover, we encourage parents to help on field trips and special events.
